Employee owners from Moore Engineering, CNE, and Moore Holding Co. demonstrated their commitment to community service by delivering boxes of food and a monetary donation to food banks across their service areas in Minnesota and North Dakota. The companies supported local efforts to combat hunger during the holiday season, an especially critical time of need.
The monetary donation will assist in the purchase and distribution of nutritious foods, while the donated non-perishable items, such as canned vegetables, pasta, and rice, will help stock the food banks’ shelves. Donations from the western North Dakota offices were directed to the Missouri Slope United Way, while the Minnesota Twin Cities-area offices delivered food to ICA. The Great Plains Food Bank in Fargo received food and a $1,000 check from employees in eastern North Dakota and west central Minnesota. The donated funds were eligible for a match if made before New Year’s.
“We are proud to support these food banks and their incredible work,” said Taylor Braaten, chair of the ESOP Communication Committee and a professional engineer. “Our team is dedicated to making a difference, and we believe that by working together, we can help alleviate hunger and improve the lives of our neighbors.”
